Who can help?
To find the local services that can help you select your area from the list below. Each borough will have several local services that can help you if you are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless:
- The Local Council - Your Council will have a service that gives advice and assesses the needs of people who apply to them as homeless.
- Local advice services and day centres - There are usually also independent advice services that can give you advice and practical support. Some areas also have day centres that provide practical services such as meals, laundry and showers, and advice and referrals.
- Help for people sleeping rough - Each borough has a street outreach team that gives support to people sleeping rough.
