Advice and Support Services
As well as hostels and accommodation projects, there are various types of non-residential advice and support services that specifically serve homeless people. There are also many other services, which whilst not specifically for homeless people, can also give help on homelessness and other related matters.
Most of these advice and support services are run by independent charities. They are usually funded by local councils, charitable trusts and donations. Some services are directly run by local councils.
